A tool specialized in detecting and fixing issues with your system's Registry.
Computer Speed Optimizer is a system optimization tool that specializes in detecting and fixing problems with your Windows Registry.
The program offers a sober and intuitive interface that provides you with access to all its sections through a tabbed system. By default, Computer Speed Optimizer configures itself to run and perform a system scan automatically at Windows start-up, though you can disable those actions to use the program manually only. On the other hand, you can also schedule automatic system scans at specific days/times.
The "Scan" and "Fix Now" sections allow you to launch a manual system scan and show you a summary of the errors found. You can fix them all by simply clicking on a button. Next is the "Defrag/Restore" section, and it allows you to defragment your system’s Registry and, optionally, to create a backup of it. Of course, it is very advisable that you create a Registry backup before performing any operation with it. This way, you can always return your system to its previous state in case things do not go as expected. Finally, the "Startup" section allows you to select which programs will run automatically at Windows start-up by simply clicking on the corresponding checkboxes.
As you can see, the program is really easy to use, and provides very helpful optimization functions. However, there is a very important downside to it: its trial version simply scans your system and shows you the errors, but it does not actually fix anything. In other words, you cannot really test how effective the program is for your system unless you buy it. In my honest opinion, this makes the program's trial version almost useless.
